Both sides reaffirmed Pakistan-China friendship is evergreen, deep-rooted and strategic, and they will closely work to implement CPEC, the DG added.
The political and military leadership of China also reassured support for Pakistan in ensuring its sovereignty, integrity, security and development.

General Raheel also met the Vice Chairman Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff and Foreign Minister.
Army chief, Afghan envoy agree to reopen Torkham border crossing
On Monday, the COAS met Chinese leadership and discussed measures to improve military to military cooperation and security of CPEC among other issues.
During his meeting with his Chinese counterpart at military headquarters in Beijing, the army chief congratulated the latter on assumption of command of the newly-established army headquarter.
