Doctor gunned down in Peshawar

Police say the doctor had a family feud in his native Kurram Agency

PESHAWAR: Dr Shah Muhammad of Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) was shot dead over a personal feud in Faqirabad on Monday. Police said the doctor had a family feud in his native Kurram Agency. The dispute has led to the death of 12 of his relatives, including his father. “The man had past enmities and was constantly armed with a pistol,” an official of the local police station told The Express Tribune. He said an FIR was registered against unidentified attackers on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Adil Muhammad. Police started an investigation into the case.
