Unsafe Space : Student ‘assaulted’ by security guard

FAISALABAD: A security guard on Friday allegedly assaulted a student of grade two in Dijkot police area. Riffat Bibi, a resident of Chak 255-RB Nawan Pindi, told police in her complaint that her six-year-old daughter Amina* was a student of grade two at Government Girls School in Chak 255-RB. She said a security guard had taken her to an empty classroom after school ended and had assaulted her.  “When she screamed and called for help, the man fled,” she said.  The Dijkot SHO told The Express Tribune that an FIR had been registered under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). “A police team has been constituted to apprehend the suspect,” he said.
