Could it be? Is the 50-year-old Bollywood hunk finally taken? Salman Khan will officially be off the market on his 51st birthday!

According to India Today, Salman and long-time rumoured girlfriend Iulia are ready to take the plunge on 27 December.

The actor's house has been filled with bouquets and gifts ever since news of his marriage came out, leaving the Bajrangi Bhaijan actor quite embarrassed, reports Pinkvilla.

Previously, Salman had sent his fans into a tizzy, after he was spotted at Mumbai airport with his rumoured girlfriend, Iulia Vantur, as well as his mother Salma Khan.

Iulia walked alongside Salman's mum, dressed as the perfect bahu in a white kurti.

The couple reached Mumbai airport, after vacationing with the rest of Salman's family in Jaipur. According to Pinkvilla, the couple stayed at family friend Bina Kak's home.

With such public displays of acceptance by Salman's family, rumours were abuzz that marriage might be right around the corner for the love birds.

Salman made his relationship with Iulia Vantur official at his dear friend Preity Zinta's wedding reception in Mumbai, by introducing her to his close friends including Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, reports India Times.

While Salman had earlier stated at a press conference, “Marriage looks doubtful but I want two to three children,” reports now suggest that the couple is ready to take the plunge on the insistence of Salman's ailing mum, Salma Khan.
