Joining hands: Govt to keep school owners in loop  

The proposed involvement of the government at private schools will help ensure children are enrolled at schools

PESHAWAR: The government’s involvement with private educational institutes would be developed by keeping owners of private schools in the loop. According to a press release issued on Thursday, this was said by Minister for Elementary and Secondary Educational Atif Khan during a meeting held in the city. “[Rules] will not be imposed from above and all regulations will be open to being reviewed,” he was quoted as saying. The moot was attended by parents, civil society members and owners of various private schools. At the meeting, it was decided the proposed involvement of the government at private schools will help ensure children are enrolled at schools. It was said that a reasonable fee structure would be considered.
