Street children: 8 children taken to child protection bureau
A CPWB spokesman said that the children were found begging at various locations

A Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Faisalabad team on Tuesday took custody of eight children who were found begging in various areas of the city.
A CPWB spokesman said that the children were found begging at General Bus Stand, D-Ground, Satiana Road, Sargodha Road, GTS Chowk, Susan Road, Clock Tower Chowk, Karkhana Bazaar, Green Town, Gulberg, Koh-i-Noor Chowk.
He said that the children had been taken to Child Protection Welfare Bureau. “At present, there are 75 children housed at the bureau.
We are providing them schooling as well as food and clothes,” he said.
