Agriculture: Experts focus on ‘nudging’ technique

The conference was spread over three technical sessions

RAWALPINDI: A two-day conference on agriculture productivity improvement through nudging concluded In Rawalpindi on Saturday. It was organised by the Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture (PMAS-AAUR), in collaboration with University of California Davis and sponsored by Agriculture Innovation Programme Pakistan (AIPP), and aimed at raising public awareness about agriculture productivity and higher yield. Dr Mark Bell, from University of California, gave an overview of the conference and outlined some areas in which nudging can be used as a potential vehicle for agriculture extension. The conference was spread over three technical sessions.
