In celebration of her first birthday, Kensington Palace has released some adorable photographs of the princess, taken by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge herself.
The photographs were taken at Anmer Hall, the secluded house in Norfolk, eastern England, where the family spends much of its time.
Prince William and Kate were "happy to be able to share these family moments ahead of their daughter's first birthday" on Monday, their Kensington Palace office wrote on Twitter.
"We hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as we do," it added.
Ever wonder why Kate and William never hold hands in public?
Kate Middleton has taken it into her own hands to photograph her children, and choose which photos are released to the media, in an effort to keep her children out of the public eye.
The couple have previously complained about the media invading their privacy, and have made it very clear that they wish to control access to information and images concerning their family.
Instead of traditional photo-calls, Kensington palace now releases carefully chosen images, often taken by Kate Middleton herself, who has proven to be a great photographer.
