Deadly Slip: One killed in road accident

LAHORE: A man died and another was injured in a road accident late on Friday. Liaquatabad police said that Qasim, 21, was travelling on his motorcycle along with his friend, Nisar. “They were travelling on Ferozepur Road when their motorcycle skidded and stuck the Metro Bus Service fence,” police said. They said that both Qasim and Nisar suffered serious injuries. “They were taken to a hospital by Rescue 1122, where Qasim was pronounced dead. Nisar is under intensive care,” police said. Police said that the accident had been caused by over-speeding.
