
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday witnessed a manoeuvre exercise of Pakistan Army corps near Jhelum, the ISPR said.
“The exercise is being conducted in an overall framework of effectively repulsing enemy offensive through integrated application of artillery, air combat aviation firepower,” a communiqué issued by the military’s media wing read.

Army will support Sindh Police in all aspects: General Raheel
The army chief expressed satisfaction over the high standard of operation preparedness and appreciated the professional skills displayed by the participating troops.
Earlier upon his arrival, General Raheel was received by Lt Gen Ikramul Haq, Commander 30 Corps, and Major General Sarfaraz Sattar, General Officer Commanding 8 Division.
