Often seen as shedding tears in a de-glam avatar on the silver screen, these leading ladies are anything but damsels in distress in real life!

We have picked five of our favourite bahus and betis from Pakistani dramas to show how their on-screen persona has very little to do with their off-screen presence.

1. Maya Ali

Maya made her acting debut with TV serial Durr-e-Shehwar. She is currently making waves as Manahil of Mann Mayal.
