KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders met Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) managing director Misbahuddin Farid at his office on Thursday. Talking to the media, PTI MNA Dr Arif Alvi said that they have demanded that water be supplied equally so that all areas receive equal amounts every day. Alvi said that last year 1,500 people died, adding that necessary steps are required to solve the hurdles that stop the provision of water. He pointed out that the machinery at Dhabeji and Pipri pumping stations is very old and needs to be maintained, for which he demanded the government release the required sum.
