FAISALABAD: A brilliant batting by skipper Misbahul Haq guided his team Islamabad to their two wicket victory over Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa (K-P) in a delayed match on the second day of Pakistan Cup One-day at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Wednesday. The second innings of the match was delayed as one of the light towers was not working due to which the match was reduced to 43 overs. Chasing 201, Islamabad lost three quick wickets for no runs, but reached the target with two wickets and five balls remaining as the Man of the Match Misbah struck 82 runs off 104 balls hitting eight fours and a six to build a 99-run partnership with Iftikhar Ahmed scoring 48 off 67 balls hitting four fours and a six. In the end, unbeaten Shadab Khan helped the team reach the target with his 33 runs hit off 29 balls.
