Crime: Three booked for kidnapping, attempting suicide

A woman and her son were booked for their alleged involvement in kidnapping a woman

ISLAMABAD:


The Naseerabad police on Wednesday booked three people in separate incidents.


The police booked a man for allegedly attempting suicide. Afzal Khan, a resident of Karamabad, lodged a complaint with the local police that his brother, Ajmal Khan, attempted suicide by hanging himself with a ceiling fan over a domestic issue.


He was saved after family members intervened.


Meanwhile, a woman and her son were booked for their alleged involvement in kidnapping a woman.


Anis Sabir lodged a complaint with the local police that Ali Raza and his mother, whose name was yet to be disclosed, kidnapped his sister, 20, from a local market, while she was there for shopping.
