LANDIKOTAL: A security guard identified as Umer was killed in a suicide attack on the hujra of a pro-government peace militia commander Saturday night in Zakakhel area of Khyber Agency. Khasadar line officer Saeed Afridi said the suicide bomber entered the hujra of peace militia commander Muhammad Bilal through a passage made for water. When Umer stopped the man from entering, the bomber opened fire and blew himself up moments later. The walls of the hujra were partially damaged while Bilal and his family members remained unhurt. No banned militant organisation has claimed responsibility of the attack as yet. Bilal has been fighting Lashkar-e-Islam, a banned outfit that operates in the region.
