Ania Fawad, stylist and blogger, talks about changing styles and her love for experimenting with clothes

Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their anatomies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

Petite and straight.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

Yes, it has. Growing up I had the hardest time gaining weight. Now, I wish I had that problem. I work out three days a week to stay in shape.

How has your style changed over the years?

My style is forever changing. If I kept it the same, I would get bored of it.

In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?

My hips. They never lie.

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

I like to play around with clothes and not take them too seriously. I love experimenting, but once I find lengths and cuts that work for me, I repeat them often.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?

Not dressing according to their age. Someone once told me there’s nothing worse than approaching a super-cute girl from afar, only to realize she’s 20 years too old for her outfit. We should own our age.

What silhouettes suit your body the most?

A-line dresses and midi-skirts.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

I don’t like wearing anything too revealing. Plunging necklines and anything too short is a no-no. It’s my personal preference, though.
