House Raid: Man seeks FIR against SHO

The petitioner said that the SHO had also demanded an additional Rs 80,000 to release his son

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from the Shahdra Town SHO on a petition filed by a man seeking the registration of a case against him for allegedly taking away cash from his house. Petitioner Muhammad Jan said that the SHO had raided his home along with a police team. “They arrested my son. They also took away Rs100,000 from a safe. When I demanded that the money be returned, the SHO threatened to murder my son in a fake encounter,” Jan said. He said that the SHO had also demanded an additional Rs80,000 to release his son. He requested the court to direct police to register a case against the SHO.
