Upgrade: 60 officers of Sindh govt promoted

Officials said 14 officers working in grade 17 have been promoted to grade 18

KARACHI: Around 60 Sindh government officers were promoted to the next grade on Wednesday. The decision was made by the selection board (II) that met under chief secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon. The board discussed the seniority of 69 bureaucrats of the provincial government and withheld the promotion of five officers who are facing inquiries on charges of corruption initiated by the National Accountability Bureau. Officials said 14 officers working in grade 17 have been promoted to grade 18 and around 15 officers were promoted from grade 18 to grade 19.
