A man was allegedly beaten up by his former in-laws after he divorced his wife in New Town on Monday.
Saqib Javed, a resident of New Malpur, lodged a complaint with the local police that his former brothers-in-law Aqeel Butt, Laiq Butt, and Shafeeq Butt kidnapped him at gunpoint and took him to a wasteland where they allegedly tortured him for divorcing his wife, Rukhsar.
The police have registered a case against the suspects and started an investigation.
