Attorney General: ‘Salman resigned for personal reasons’
The prime minister reluctantly accepted the resignation of Salman Aslam Butt in view of his invaluable services
ISLAMABAD:
Attorney General for Pakistan Salman Aslam Butt has tendered his resignation, citing personal reasons in general and professional commitments in particular. A clarification issued by the PM Office Media Wing referred on Thursday to news reports which had appeared in a section of the media regarding the unceremonious exit of the former attorney general. “The prime minister reluctantly accepted the resignation of Salman Aslam Butt in view of his invaluable services during his tenure as the Attorney General for Pakistan,” it said.
