Snooker: Agha, Perwani cruise to final

KARACHI: Khurram Agha and Naveen Perwani entered the final of the 19th Sindh Cup Snooker Championship as they knocked out Faisal Kashmiri and Mohammad Yousuf respectively.

Top-seed and former Pakistan number one Agha defeated Kashmiri 5-2 while second-seed Parwani was engaged in a marathon encounter with third-seed Muhammad Yousuf before notching-up the 5-4 win. Agha, a former Asian number three, downed the unseeded Kashmiri with the frame scores of 10-66, 80-7, 65-33, 61-49, 9-44, 60-33, 78-8. Parwani won 31-84, 86-16, 21-71, 36-64, 82-61, 41-70, 88-30, 77-33, 73-17.
