Demolished: Houses of alleged facilitators razed to the ground

The decision was taken following a jirga that convened in Wana Bazaar the same day

The houses of six locals, who had allegedly facilitated terrorists, were demolished in Wana subdivision of South Waziristan Agency on Wednesday.


The decision was taken following a jirga that convened in Wana Bazaar the same day.

It was attended by 120 people, who were
also peace committee members.

An official of the South Waziristan political administration told The Express Tribune the houses of Hafiz and Wara Khan were razed to the ground in Shen Warsak.

“Abdul Sattar’s house was demolished in Tatai,” he said. “Gul Mir’s house was demolished in Tiarza.  The houses of Zubair and Farid were demolished in Shah Alam.”

According to the official, all six locals had violated the peace agreement signed between the Ahmadzai tribe and the government.
