India on Wednesday claimed the video of an alleged spy confessing to RAW’s involvement in Pakistan was ‘tutored’ by the country in an attempt to deflect attention from its homegrown terror.

Pakistan military and government on Tuesday released a six-minute video of the Indian naval officer, Kulbhushan Yadav, confessing to RAW’s involvement in the country, especially Balochistan.

“The video has this individual making statements which have no basis in fact. That the individual claims to make the statements of his own free will not only challenges credulity but clearly indicates tutoring,” the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

Indian spy admits RAW destabilising Pakistan

“The Indian government categorically rejects allegations that this individual was involved in subversive activities in Pakistan at our behest,” added the statement.

In a joint press conference with Information Minister Pervez Rashid, military spokesperson Gen Asim Bajwa said Yadav is a serving Indian naval officer whose primary mission was to foment terrorism in Karachi and Balochistan.

The MEA spokesperson said despite requests from the Indian government, Pakistan has refused to give consular access to the Indian national.

“We are naturally concerned about his well-being in these circumstances,” the spokesperson said.

Claiming Yadav was operating a legitimate business from Iran and given his presence in Pakistan, India expressed concern about his “possible abduction” from Iran.

“This would become clear only if we are given consular access to him and we urge the government of Pakistan to respond immediately to our request,” the spokesperson added.

For one thing, what else will Indian govt would say so this shouldn’t be the news. Secondly, for all those Indians who question Pakistan’s motives, kindly think about if the guy is not spy, why would Indian govt. dish two passports to him or is it norm for Indians to keep multiple IDs and passports?Recommend

Pakistanis need a generous dose of common sense.

Next time you need the world to take you seriously, don’t edit the life out of a confessional video.

    Don’t stylize it.

    Some factual errors to note
1st this individual was caught as claimed by Pakistan but with passport address showing Mumbai-one, no spy will do this silly mistake to remember to change his name but forget to delete his own home address in passport.
2nd this video all have already said below and most will say its doctored as it clearly looks doctored as well which some pakistani members in dawn also raised questions and doubts on this videos.Recommend

Rather than being ashamed of what India has done with us, they are blaming us of abduction of their nation. They are accusing us of taming and presenting their national against them. What a mockery.

Pakistan has done its best to restore its relationship with India but India has stabbed Pakistan from the back. Pakistan informed its counterpart beforehand the terrorists had crossed the border into their territory. We were hoping that our long derailed relations would get better with them but this act of treachery has lost all our hopes.

The thing to consider is why Yahdev had decided to establish his business in Iran when there are sanctions on Iran on import and export by US/ UN and even he had established his business in one of Iran’s suburb and not in Tehran or other city where he could do better than Chabahar. If he was not a spy then why would he need to change his identity.

This is very much evident that he was a trained RAW agent who was tasked to destabilise Pakistan.Recommend

” kindly think about if the guy is not spy, …” He may be a spy. There is no doubt that India & Pakistan spy on each other (US, China, Russia spy on both). None owns a caught spy.
However spying is not the same as sponsoring terrorism. Spies are not same as infiltrated terrorists & suicide bombers.Recommend
