Gunned Down: Man shot dead in broad daylight

The attacker managed to escape, his identity and possible motives had not been ascertained

ABBOTTABAD: An unidentified attacker shot a man to death outside Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Hospital in broad daylight on Wednesday, police and eyewitnesses said. A police spokesperson said the young man was standing outside the hospital when the assailant came and fired at him with a pistol, killing him immediately. The victim was later identified as Hafiz Babar, the son of Ghulam Sarwar and a resident of Banda Sapan village, Abbottabad. The attacker managed to escape, his identity and possible motives had not been ascertained till the filing of this report.
