Two Left Feet: Peshawar’s fountain dances no more

The fountain was known as a dancing fountain because of its engineered movements

PESHAWAR: A digital fountain installed at Jinnah Park has been lying out of order since 2015. It was built by the previous government for at least Rs10 million. The fountain was known as a dancing fountain because of its engineered movements. It was installed in the park in 2011 with lights in over 150 colours. According to sources, the spare parts of this fountain were imported from Japan and 25 people were recruited for its upkeep.
