We’re playful in Paris! Note  the boutiques you cannot miss, upcoming designers you have not heard of,  and the best cafés for a perfect French bite

1. Rue De Charonne

This hidden village in the 11th arrondissement is an upcoming spot with its cluster of quirky independent shops that we haven’t yet heard of, plus some French favourites such as Isabel Marant, Sandro and Repetto.

While Rue de Charonne is tailor-made for an afternoon of shopping with your girlfriends, several menswear boutiques have also sprouted. Cool casual wear, leather goods, accessories, all with that Parisian edge. You’ll find shops for children and homeware, making Rue de Charonne a family spot on the weekends.

2. Canal Saint-Martin

Known for its pretty waterside views and open-terrace cafés, it is very easy to miss out on the interesting retail therapy in Canal Saint-Martin. So stroll down and between Rue de Marseille and Rue Beaurepaire, to discover new brands and independent young French designers in converted old Parisian ateliers.

Also find outlet shops for French brands such as Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot.

3. The Hidden Marais

Also called Haut-Marais by the locals, browse through creative little boutiques to find unique one-of-a-kind pieces to complete a bohemian look. Do not miss Merci concept store, Royal Cheese and Zou boutique.

Including the area around Avenue Montaigne, Avenue George V, and Rue François 1er, the Triangle d’Or is where you’ll find the finest Haute Couture brands in the world, including Versace, Gucci, Dior, Chanel, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and several more. When you walk down avenue Montaigne towards the Champs-Élysées one can choose to shop from a selection of high street brands like Zara and H&M.

Break for a Bite at:

Hotel Athénée for coffee

L’Avenue for lunch

The Plaza Athénée is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, located in the middle of the Triangle d’Or on Avenue Montaigne and worth a visit to spot the many celebrities who hang out there.
