Faisalabad Heist: Gunmen rob bank of Rs3.3 million

FAISALABAD:
Four gunmen robbed a bank of Rs 3.3 million on Sargodha Road on Tuesday.
This is the second bank robbery in a week after a cash transport van was looted on its way from Samundari to Garh last Thursday.
In Tuesday’s incident, the robbers held the bank’s staff and customers after snatching the weapons of the bank’s guards. The robbers also injured a guard who put up resistance.
A police team, headed by the superintendent of Lyallpur Town police, has been formed to look for the robbers. The team has gathered forensic evidence from the crime scene. According to witnesses, the robbers made their escape in a white car.
