LAHORE:

Turkish Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation (SME) KOSGEB will continue sharing its knowledge and experience with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) for the development of the SME sector in Pakistan, said KOSGEB President Recep Bicer.

While addressing a joint meeting during his visit to the SMEDA head office, he said that Pakistan’s SME sector had great potential to grow and the current Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with SMEDA had opened new vistas of exchanging knowledge and experience.

Earlier, Smeda CEO Muhammad Alamgir Chaudhry, in his welcome address, said that Smeda and KOSGEB had been exchanging mutual cooperation with each other under an MOU signed in 2002, which was renewed on Monday in the presence of Federal Minster for Industries and Production Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi. He said that both SME development agencies would help each other promote SMEs.
