Mega challenge: GCU orators shine at debating competition

LAHORE: Debaters from the Government College University (GCU) Lahore have won two team trophies and been runners-up at two events at the All Pakistan Mega Challenge 2016, hosted by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

According to a press release, in the English declamation, the GCU team, comprising Saad Khan and Rana Ali Nawaz, won the team trophy and a cash award. In Bayt Baazi, Hassan Qadeer Butt and Zohaib Alam also won the team trophy and cash award. The GCU debaters were runners-up in the Urdu declamation.
