Your stars today

March 05, 2016

Aries | March 20 – April 18

In a few days’ time, the first of March’s two eclipses take place. The shakeups it’s triggering may already have begun. However, because they’re in the background, you won’t yet recognise them as part of this pattern of powerful and timely change. Knowing that, explore absolutely everything that arises.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Clashes regarding future plans are intense, and getting worse by the day. Worrying as this seems, do nothing. Bide your time until the nature and extent of the changes triggered by March’s two eclipses, on the 9th and 23rd is clear. Only after that should you even think of finalising those plans.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

For ages you’ve been trying to get certain rather stubborn individuals to at least consider breaking away from restrictive habits. Now events are about to force them to do exactly that. Rather than continue offering suggestions, quietly withdraw. Instead, leave it to destiny to make those changes happen.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

By no means are you narrow minded. Yet you’ve either dismissed or completely ignored certain ideas or offers as unrealistic. Recently, that might have been true. But you and the world around you are in a period of swift and dramatic change, which means these aren’t just likely, they’re for real.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Sometimes obstacles are no more than that. Those you’re facing at the moment are strongly encouraging you to pause and review certain habits that are so familiar you might not even realise they could, or should, be changed. Once you’re thinking about it, you’ll realise those changes are long overdue.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

There’s doing a job, and then there’s doing it properly. Somebody you’re dealing with seems not to care. They’re in no hurry to get things done, which is bad enough. But the real problem is the lackadaisical approach of the individual in question. It simply doesn’t matter whether they get it right.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

The dilemmas you’re facing, and will over the coming week, all require a bit of analysis, thought and, often, discussion with others. More complex situations will require an intuitive approach. Ideally, these will wait until 20 March, when the encounter between your ruler Venus and the intuitive Neptune triggers profound insights.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

When discussions become heated, you have a tendency to become very cool, in both your manner and your thinking. As a result, in an argument, it’s unlike you to insist on having the last word. Yet judging by the current planetary setup, that’s exactly what could happen. And, not surprisingly, you’d regret it.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Usually putting things off, that is, procrastinating, is regarded as a bad thing. But now your instincts are telling you to sidestep certain matters and, especially, crucial decisions. That’s wise, mostly because the eclipsed New Moon, on the 9th, promises to trigger changes in existing arrangements and, especially, future plans.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

There are many ways to say ‘no’. Usually, you need only be direct. Now, however, you’re dealing with somebody who largely ignores those around them and, instead, creates fictional discussions. Knowing that, you must be abundantly clear, if not actually write down what’s been agreed. You’ll be glad you did.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

It may not be interesting. But the time has come to do your sums, that is, to examine what you get for your time, efforts, thoughts and even affections. Selfish as this could seem, with Wednesday’s eclipsed New Moon accenting these matters, changes are inevitable. This ensures you’ll be well prepared.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Although the events of the coming week won’t seem at all straightforward as they’re unfolding, your instincts will tell you these will come together magically. Knowing that, explore absolutely everything that arises, including what seems unappealing if not worrying. What seems least promising could prove to be best in the long run.
