FAISALABAD: Acting DCO Ejaz Khaliq Razzaqi warned the owners and managers of petrol pumps to avoid overcharging after the decrease in petroleum prices. Chairing a meeting, the DCO received complaints that some petrol pumps were still selling oil products at previous rates despite the decrease in prices. Taking serious notice, the DCO said that strict action would be taken against the owners and managers of those petrol pumps that were found to be selling oil products at the previous rates. He directed special raiding teams to conduct surprise visits of petrol pumps and filling stations. He also directed the Secretary Regional Transport Authority (RTA) to ensure the decrease in transport fares.
