An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from the Defence-A SHO in connection with a petition filed by a woman seeking an FIR to be registered against three people for throwing acid at her.
Shazia Bibi told the court that Misbah, Imran and Iftikhar had thrown acid at her after she refused to prostitute herself. Bibi said the attack had left her severely injured with her skin and hair badly burnt.
She told the court that the men had earlier served her spiked drinks. She said they had then had her raped by scores of people. Bibi said they had also prevented her from undergoing a medical examination when she had tried to have one. She requested the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR.
