Metropolitan corporation: Mayor, deputies to take oath on 4th

ISLAMABAD: Newly elected mayor and three deputy mayors of Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation will take oath on Friday (March 4). The oath-taking ceremony will be held at Jinnah Convention Centre, Election Commission sources said. Special Court Judge Irum Niazi will administer the oath. Sheikh Ansar Aziz was elected mayor in the recently held elections, whereas, Muhammad Azam, Zeeshan Ali Naqvi and Chaudhary Riffat Javed were elected deputy mayors on February 15.
