FAISALABAD: The annual Matriculation Examinations 2016 kicked off under the aegis of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad on Monday. A BISE spokesperson said on Monday that 147,227 students – 79,127 boys and 68,100 girls – were sitting matric exams this year. He said the BISE had established 518 exam centres across the division. Districts Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Chiniot had their respective examination centres. He said 219 exam centres had been set up for girls and 247 centres for boys.
