LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge sought comments on Friday from the Nishtar Town SHO on a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against some people for defrauding him. Muhammad Tahir submitted that Shehzad, Intizar Ali, Tariq and some other people had taken Rs200,000 from him promising to allot him a shop in Ashiana Housing Scheme. He said he had not been allotted a shop. He said when he had asked them to return the amount, they had threatened him with dire consequences. Tahir said he had requested the SHO to take action against them but he had done nothing in this regard. He requested the court to direct the officer to register an FIR against them.
