Lg elections: 200 SSU commandos to secure Sanghar

KARACHI: As many as 200 commandos from Special Security Unit (SSU) of Sindh Police left for Sanghar to assist the local police in maintaining law and order during local body elections to be held today (February 25). The SSU commandos, equipped with modern weapons, communication system and other accessories, will provide security in sensitive areas during the elections, according to a statement issued on Wednesday. Security arrangements have been made to maintain peace in Sanghar district and people have been asked to cast their votes without any fear.
