Brawl : Petition against suspects

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Tuesday sought comments from the Liaquatabad SHO in connection with a petition filed by a citizen seeking the registration of a case against beating up him and his housemate. Petitioner Muhammad Saleem told the court that he had been putting up in a rented house. He said Khalid alias Kajal, a eunuch, used to live in a another room in the same house. Saleem said Ashfaq, Heero and Ilyas had attacked Kajal. He said he had rushed to the spot on hearing the ruckus. Saleem said they had also beaten him up after he had tried to placate them. The petitioner said he had approached the relevant SHO to have a case registered again the men in vain. He requested the court to direct the official to lodge an FIR against them.
