20th Raising Day : ANF’s outstanding officials remembered

The day started by paying tribute to martyred officers of the ANF and floral wreaths were laid at a martyrs’ monument

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials observed the department’s 20th annual raising day at its headquartres, here on Sunday.


Homage was paid to the ANF martyrs and awards were given to outstanding officials at the ceremony.

In a press release, the ANF authorities said that the ceremony was attended by former directors-general and senior officers of the force, diplomats, and representatives of other law enforcement agencies.

The day started by paying tribute to martyred officers of the ANF and floral wreaths were laid at a martyrs’ monument.

The ceremony was attended by relatives of the martyred ANF officers.

The ANF DG Major-Gen, Nasir Dilawar Shah thanked all participants for attending the event and apprised them of performance of the force, especially its achievements during last year.

The director-general also discussed in detail achievements of the ANF, recent initiatives, training aspects, technical improvements and up-gradation plans.

The outstanding officials of the force were given awards for their performance during the last year.
