MUZAFFARABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary General Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Shah Ghulam Qadir accused Prime Minister AJK Chaudhry Abdul Majeed of being behind the Nakyal killing and asked the government to form a commission to disclose facts before the public.

He was addressing a press conference regarding the Nakyal incident in which a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) activist was killed on Sunday. “We want to know why the PM reached the rally venue two hours before its start and what he was doing there?” the PML-N Secretary General questioned.

Qadir said that PML-N condemned the killing of Chaudhry Munshi but the way AJK government had handled the situation by observing a black day against the federation of Pakistan, was unacceptable. He claimed that PM Majeed was basically a staunch supporter of an independent Kashmir stating that the PM had observed a black day against Pakistan the same day when people in Indian administered Kashmir were observing a black day against Indian state terrorism and the killing of three Kashmiri youth in Pulwama.

“What kind of message is PM Majeed sending to the world and the people of Srinagar, who are giving unrivalled sacrifices and waving green flags to express their love with Pakistan?” Qadir asked.

PML-N once again demanded the establishment of a judicial commission to probe the incident claiming that it is PM Majeed who will not be ready to form the commission as he knows that he planned the whole game himself in Kotli.

Qadir stated that the First Investigation Report (FIR) should be registered against PM Majeed as he was present when Chaudhry Munshi was killed. He added that PML-N had also lost a worker during a clash with PPP in 2011 however they did not observe a black day.

He claimed that the PPP government can also repeat the Nakyal incident anywhere in AJK to divert public attention from its poor governance. He demanded PM Majeed to resign saying that nobody expects transparent and impartial general elections in AJK in his presence.
