Security measures : Walls of 46 institutions raised

ISLAMABAD:

Height of boundary walls of 46 educational institutions operating under Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) would be completed shortly, a senior official of Capital Administration and Development Division said.

“Remaining schools’ walls will be raised in the second phase under the Prime Minister’s Educational Reform Programme (PMERP),” he said on Wednesday.

In addition to raising the walls, he said, barbed wires were also being installed as per security measures advised by the concerned.

A total of 597 security guards are available in 422 educational institutions while recruitment against vacant posts of security gourds is under process.
