Rescue services : PM wants CDA to cover entire capital

The PM also directed CDA chairman to immediately undertake a review of current physical and human resources

ISLAMABAD:


 The prime minister has observed that rescue services of Capital Development Authority (CDA) are only operating in municipal limits of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).


He has directed that the civic agency undertake necessary expansion to ensure coverage of the entire capital, according to a press release. For this purpose, CDA limits shall be deemed to be extended to the entire ICT with immediate effect.


The PM also directed CDA chairman to immediately undertake a review of current physical and human resources available for rescue services in consultation with Rescue 1122 director general and put forward a comprehensive plan for implementation within three months.
