Busted: LEAs arrest gang war ‘facilitator’

KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies arrested a suspect from Lyari during a raid on Thursday. The suspect, Muhammad Riaz alias Babul, an employee of Lyari General Hospital, was arrested on charges of facilitating criminals involved in the Lyari gang war. The raid was conducted by the police and some other officials of law enforcement agencies, said Chakiwara SHO. After Riaz was interrogated, the LEAs seized weapons from two different locations including Phool Patti Lane. According to the police, the suspect is an accomplice of Noor Muhammad aliad Baba Ladla, one of the ring leaders of Karachi’s Lyari gang war.
