Search Operation: 52 suspects rounded up in Quetta

FC Balochistan along with the police, conducted a joint search operation in various parts of Quetta

QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and police carried out a joint search operation in several parts of Quetta on Monday and arrested 52 suspected persons in connection with the suicide attack on FC’s convoy last Saturday, in which at least 12 people, including four FC soldiers, lost their lives. Acting on a tip-off, FC Balochistan along with the police, conducted a joint search operation in various parts of Quetta and booked 52 suspected persons and seized arms and ammunitions from them. “The search operation had been launched in areas of Kachra road, Pashtunabad and adjacent areas where the suspects were hiding, FC spokesman said. “Three TT pistols, two pistols of 32 bores with 48 rounds, 197 rounds of SMG, one pair of binoculars and two daggers were seized during the raid.”
