Mayoral Election : RO, appellate authority appointed

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has appointed a returning officer and appellate authority to dispose of appeals for the election of the mayor and deputy mayors of Islamabad. Farasat Ali Khan has been appointed returning officer, while Sanaullah Malik, an ECP director, has been named as the appellate authority to hear appeals during the nomination process. The elections will be held on February 15.
