Accident: Woman killed in hit-and-run

CHAKWAL: A woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Chakwal on Saturday. Muhammad Aslam lodged a complaint with the Dohman police station that a coach (RIS-4995) hit his wife while she was standing at a bus stop in Dhoke Malkan. She died while being shifted to Chakwal District Headquarters Hospital.  Meanwhile, the Saddar police arrested two suspected drug peddlers and seized illicit narcotics from them. The suspects were identified as Ali Abbas and Qaisar Manzoor. Police also arrested one Shaukat Ali for illegally decanting gas on Jhang Road. Separate cases have been registered against all suspects.
