Securing Campuses: High-ups visit colleges, varsities

RAWALPINDI: Police high-ups on Saturday visited various colleges and universities in the Rawalpindi district to inspect security arrangements at their campuses. Police have directed all schools, colleges and universities to beef up their security after a terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda on Wednesday, in which at least 22 people were killed. City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Abbasi and DCO Sajid Zafar Dall visited Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University (PMAS-AAU), where they directed the varsity administration to further beef up security. On the other hand, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Fakhar Sultan Raja visited Cadet College Hasan Abdal and Wah Medical College.
