LAKKI MARWAT: A woman was gunned down for refusing a marraige proposal near the Abbas Khattak area in Lakki Marwat. A police official said three men identified as Azizullah, Noor Alam and Noor Ali stormed in Gul Muhammad’s house late Thursday night with the purpose of kidnapping his daughter but Gul saved her. However, the official added, the three made another attempt and opened fire on her while leaving the house. The accused then fled the site. The woman was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but she succumbed to her injuries there. Gul told the police, one of the three men had proposed to his daughter but she rejected because of which they killed her. Police lodged an FIR and started investigation.
