Stepping down: AGP resigns due to bad health
Mirza spent his last day at office on Friday and received compliments from the staff
LAHORE:
Punjab Advocate General Naveed Rasool Mirza resigned from office on Friday. In his resignation sent to the chief minister and the law secretary, Mirza said he would be unable to continue work due to poor health. Insiders said the AGP had earlier met the chief minister and informed him about his illness. The chief minister allowed him to resign. Mirza spent his last day at office on Friday and received compliments from the staff.
