Batting first, Pakistan posted a total of 214 runs as Mohammad Akram made 44 off 30 balls to form a 79-run partnership with man of the match Ayyaz Muhammad, who scored 34 off 19 balls.
Sri Lanka’s Kalum Lakmal, meanwhile, took two wickets but was unable to help his team restrict Pakistan to a low total as the other bowlers leaked 30 extras.
In reply, Sri Lanka were unable to register more than 124-8 in their allotted 20 overs as Idrees Saleem dismissed two batsmen while Akram, Amir Ishfaq, Sajid Nawaz and Ayyaz picked up a wicket each. Deshpriya, who was the top scorer for the losing side, made 36 runs while Ruwan Washantha chipped in with 33.
“We have finally qualified for the final of the first Asia Cup which is a great achievement for the entire team,” Pakistan Blind Cricket Team captain Anees Javed told The Express Tribune. “This match was not a difficult one but I am glad that the whole team put their efforts together in this win.”

Pakistan will now play their last league match against Bangladesh on January 22, while the second finalist will be decided when India take on Sri Lanka.
