Land dispute: Three injured in scuffle

Two people from Baban Massi group and one person from Said Khel group were injured

HANGU: Three members of a family were injured over a land dispute in Orakzai Agency. According to the political administration, the dispute arose when Baban Massi group wanted to construct a road in an area said to contain coal. However, Said Khel group opposed this decision. However, 12-kilometre road was constructed on an 18-kilometre strip. Furious at the development and determined to decide what to do with the remaining six kilometers, Said Khail met the other group when a quarrel ensued. Both sides opened fire on each other. Two people from Baban Massi group and one person from Said Khel group were injured. Orakzai Agency Political Agent and Assistant Political Agent reached the site and tried to placate the groups.
